On Sunday March 11th 2018 took place the first round of the Italian Championship Enduro Under 23 and Senior in Cerro al Lambro in the province of Milan.
Bad weather and heavy rains have affected the race, making the special tests scheduled on Sunday at the limit of practicability.
Present at Cerro al Lambro, three of our riders, Matteo Bresolin, who in this season will aim to win the Italian title in the Senior 250 4T class and get on the final podium in the Assoluta and two of our foreign riders: Ruy Barbosa and the new entry Tomas Clemente .
The best of ours was Matteo Bresolin, winner in the Senior 250 4T class, also obtaining an excellent third place in the Assoluta. Matteo arrived in Cerro al Lambro with the goal of well figuring and aiming for the class title and did not disappoint the expectations at all. Riding the Husqvarna FE 250 Matteo Bresolin, in the Senior 250 4T class, recorded the best time in eight of the ten special test disputed by distancing his direct opponent by more than 36 seconds.
In the Elite class our Ruy Barbosa is compared to some world class riders and his score is an excellent fourth place. The race of Cerro al Lambro has served as preparation for the first round of the World Enduro Championship that will be held in Spain on 27-28 and 29 April in which our Chilean rider will point to the title of the Youth Cup.
