Good morning all,

The MXGP of Portugal held at the hard-packed Agueda circuit hosted round 12 of the World Motocross Championship at the weekend. The weather was hot but this week the slight breeze made conditions more tolerable than in Italy 7 days ago.

Ken Bengtson was hoping to consolidate his 5th place in the EMX250 championship but mid-field starts gave our Swedish racer too much work to do on the fast circuit where the top 15 lap times were all within two seconds of each other. Ken`s 14/14 finishes demoted him to 6th in the championship table but with two rounds still remaining there is much to play for.

Ryan Houghton is inching his way closer to the top-twenty with each GP week. The Essex youngster took 22nd in moto1 and came within a breath of his first World Championship point in moto2 but an unlucky broken header pipe on the very last lap while in 20th snatched the chance away. Ryan took 22/21 finishes over the weekend as the team now prepares for the MXGP of Czech Republic in Loket in 3 week`s time.

We will keep you posted.
